What is MoVI?

 

The MOVI is a 3-Axis Motorized Gimbal Stabilizer that uses three motors and an IMU (inertial measurement unit) to detect and counteract unwanted movement along three axes: pan, tilt, and roll. In particular, it works to compensate for handshake or vehicle-induced vibration as well as reduce translation.

What can you do with a MoVI? 

 

The MoVI supports payloads up to 15 pounds, making it suitable for professional cinema cameras with lenses and accessories, as well as smaller camcorders and DSLRs.

 

With an adapter, the MoVI can be mounted on drones, cranes, jibs, vehicles mounts, and other camera support equipment.

The system supports single or dual-operator control.

About me and the MoVI:

I had shot on the MoVI for the past 2 years. Certified operator/technician by Abelcine/Freefly. More than 700 logged hours operating the unit in any of the different models (M5, M10, M15)

 

The majority of the cameras had being RED, Canon and Sony.
